Maselec MEA-2 Precision Stereo EQ

The Maselec MEA-2 Precision Stereo EQ by Relab is a meticulously recreated version of the iconic Maselec hardware, now available as a plugin. Developed in collaboration with renowned engineer Leif Mases, it offers a highly musical, hand-tuned EQ design with a unique asymmetric Q (bandwidth) curve and broad shelving that delivers smooth, natural sound. It features modern enhancements like Mid/Side control per band, Solo Isolation, and intuitive workflow features, making it an essential tool for mastering and mixing. With unparalleled precision and a price much lower than the original hardware, the MEA-2 is perfect for professionals seeking to craft refined, high-quality sound.

Maselec MLA-4 Triband Compressor/Expander

The Maselec MLA-4 by Relab is a software recreation of the renowned MLA-4 Triband Compressor/Expander, offering high-end dynamic control for mixing, mastering, and stem processing. Developed in collaboration with Leif Mases, this plugin provides precise multiband compression and expansion, enabling users to control low-end dynamics, enhance midrange clarity, and restore lost transients without introducing unwanted artifacts. It features advanced controls such as per-band THD (total harmonic distortion) for selective warmth, Auto Spectral Balance to preserve tonal integrity, and smart sidechain linking for seamless dynamic adjustments. The MLA-4 combines analog warmth with modern digital flexibility, offering professionals an accessible yet powerful tool at a fraction of the cost of the original hardware.
