Description

VEQ-HA32C brings the warm and dynamic tone-shaping power of classic American mixing consoles to your DAW. Designed to be flexible yet musical, it features four parametric bands, each of them coming with a Gain and Frequency control knob. The Low and High bands can be switched to shelving modes, and the EQ features High- and Low-Pass filters that can be switched on or off. The EQ’s signature sound lies in its wide, forgiving curves and natural phase behavior, ensuring every move feels musical.

Whether you’re sculpting drums, guitars, vocals, or full mixes, VEQ-HA32C adds a sense of cohesion and dimension that defines the best-sounding recordings of the analog era.

History

The console that inspired VEQ-HA32C became a studio staple for rock, pop, and film scoring engineers during the golden age of analog recording. Its EQ section stood out for its ability to combine precision with musicality, shaping legendary albums without ever sounding harsh. Our team studied a well-maintained unit from the late 1970s, capturing every nuance of its inductor and op-amp circuitry to deliver its instantly recognizable tone in plugin form.
