VP Drum-All-Nite

Intro

VP Drum-All-Nite is the ultimate drums plugin. If you need an aggressive compressor capable of applying massive gain reduction without distortion and unwanted artifacts look no further. Add this versatile 4-in-1 dynamics processor to your workflow for unique flavor and authentic vintage punch.

Description

VP Drum-all-nite is the ultimate parallel-compression cheat sheet for drums. While it's essential for limiting and compression, especially when carving the perfect drum sound, it’s also the unit to go for when you need a meticulous gate, a versatile expander, and even a de-esser.

Throw the VP Drum-All-Nite in a parallel chain if you want to bring out the body of the drums. Experiment with the Limiter in Peak or Avg. mode to achieve your desired sound. This plugin will allow your drums to pierce the loudest wall of guitar sound and still sound massive. Thanks to Gate & Expander modes, especially when used simultaneously, VP Drum-All-Nite can tighten up your overall drum mix while preserving its signature punch and spit.

We have been talking about the VP-Drum-All-Nite as the ultimate drums processing multi-tool but this plugin can handle any sound source you feed through it.

History

The Valley People hardware unit that inspired us to create VP Drum-All-Nite dates back to the 1980s. Like anything from this manufacturer, this legendary bears little resemblance to anything else on the market. One good example of a feature, we’ve carefully preserved in our plugin is the Release control featuring Anticipatory Release Computation. Like a Look Ahead feature, this technology anticipates the incoming signal and prevents waveform modulation or excessive pumping.

An often underestimated but quite significant treat of the VP Drum-All-Nite plugin is its intuitive and minimalist control set, featuring only Threshold, Release, Range & Output knobs. This makes its one-of-a-kind sound easily achievable and adaptable to any modern-day setup and studio scenario.
