Notre Dame de Budapest (NDB) Pipe Organ Samples is a comprehensive legendary sound sample library containing original, real pipe organ sounds from symphonic organs of two Hungarian cathedrals.





Looped Edition (sample library)

The Looped Edition of NDB Pipe Organ Samples, made for the professional, contains 62 stops, pre-recorded combinations and sound effects from the symphonic organs. This edition is made for those who already have a sampler software and wish to use the samples with that. All sound transients, like the sounds of the valves of the pipes or the windchest activity can be heard together with the natural reverb of the cathedrals - without any additional noise. Key features include the realtime controllable swellbox, tremolo and crescendo effects and the natural cathedral ambience achieved in two different ways: by impulse responses of the cathedrals and by release triggers. You can always choose the method that best fits your music, or even use them together. Every important combination and stop on the organs was recorded to allow performing almost every part of the pipe organ literature.


NDB Pipe Organ Samples is designed to operate with Native Instruments' Kontakt.

Looped and Compact Edition (looped samples)

sample library with .NKI (Kontakt 4) files 

Kontakt 4 or later or compatible is required (.NKI files)

This sample set doesn't require any activation through Native Access. The patches can be loaded into Kontakt by simply double-clicking the .nki files or just drag-and-drop them into the multi-rack.


Also note that NDB Pipe Organ Samples is not compatible with the RAM-based sampler Hauptwerk.
