Sonuscore Trailer Sounds Vol. 1

The trailer music of today has a definite sound. Go to any movie theater and before the show, you know you’re about to get pleasantly overwhelmed by a complete audio sensory overload, with screaming gusts of wind, sonic booms, and walls of sound. All those effects are precisely designed to get the biggest – dare we say – impact possible, to stir up all the latent emotions you’ve got inside and get them blossoming out to maximize your excitement for that upcoming movie.

With our new TRAILER SOUNDS series, we wanted to make it easier for you to get that Hollywood sound for your music. We’ve decided to release sets of composition-ready sounds to bring to you all the layers of sounds that are featured in trailers and in cinematic proportions. These will be collections of perfectly polished sounds that capture that processed tone just right; fully designed sounds to add that extra oomph and expression to your project, while all you have to do is click, drag, and drop.

The audio elements in the modern trailer sound that we will explore now and in the future include massive impacts, slicing whooshes, heart-attacking bass drops, or titanic builds. With each pack of sounds, our curations fully explore the sonic possibilities of each type.

These sounds from trailers are all crafted with musical intention, and can be used for many purposes in your composition. Wherever you need those powerful sounds and impacts, you can find them here, without any long search through your virtual instruments.

CINEMATIC HITS

In our first volume of TRAILER SOUNDS, we hit you with a full impact of Dolby proportion. CINEMATIC HITS contains 150 booms, hits, and whoosh hits, providing you with what you need to get started for intense tracks that are on a true, cinematic scale.

JUST DRAG AND DROP

We decided to make this a series of .wav sound packs rather than a Kontakt instrument simply for the quick and easy appeal of its use. No need to worry about opening up Kontakt or fiddling with any knobs. These sounds are ready to go as they are, so just find the sound you want in your file browser, click it, and drag it over into your project. Can’t get any quicker and easier than that.

A SPECIALLY CURATED SOUND PACK

These sound packs are specially curated together with our partner company, BOOM Library. Our composers browsed through the gigantic selection of sounds available and found what we thought were the best ones for any musical content to share. With each release, we focus on one or two types of sounds (here we’ve narrowed down our favorite booms, hits, and whoosh-hits), so that you can have the best that BOOM has to offer. Don’t let that hold you back from exploring BOOM Library though. They’ve got an enormous selection of high-quality sound effects, both natural and steaming hot with creative sound design, along with some excellent innovative tools, like Enrage and Uberloud.

STAY TUNED FOR MORE TO COME

Don’t worry, this isn’t a one-time release. We’re going to pack you up with all the creative tools you need to bring your trailers up to Hollywood level. Today, we’ve got booms, hits, and whoosh-hits, tomorrow we might deliver risers, down-enders, or something else.
