UAD EMT 140 Classic Plate Reverberator

Explore Three Legendary Plate Reverbs

The EMT 140 UAD plug-in gives you the natural warmth and presence that only plate reverb can provide. It’s the sound heard on the most iconic recordings in history — from The Beatles and Pink Floyd to Radiohead and Adele.

Authentic EMT Sound for Your Mixes

Any plate reverb plug-in promises vintage tone. But the EMT 140 UAD plug-in is truly the real deal. Modeled after three original vintage units, it’s the only emulation fully endorsed by EMT International.

Discover Unique Plate Textures

Plates A and B give you the original EMT electronics system, with plates that had intentionally not been tuned in some time. Plate C is more full-frequency, using serviced Martech electronics for a more open reverb with added presence and brightness.

Flexibility for All Your Sources

With plug-in-only features like Balance, Width, and Modulation, you can use the EMT 140 in entirely new ways. Pinpoint a snare tone with the Balance control, spread out strings with the Width function, or use the Modulation feature to add shimmer to a lead vocal.

Iconic Plate Ambience, With or Without Apollo

The EMT 140 is one of the most coveted plate reverb units in recording history. Now you can get that same glossy atmosphere on nearly any system to bring your sessions to life.
